This is the entry level instructor level course for instructors who wish to teach the Poseidon Se7en CCR Air Diluent course.
The aim of this course is to train instructors to teach rebreather diving and to develop the basic rebreather diving skills and procedures suitable for diving within the normal depth limits for decompression free dives to 30 metres using oxygen (O2) and air as diluent.
Air Diluent Level:
This is the entry level course for divers who wish to dive with a rebreather (CCR).
The aim of the course is to familiarise divers with the benefits, hazards and correct procedures and skills required for diving with a Poseidon Se7en CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 20 metres (if a separate bail-out gas is carried up to 30 metres), using air as diluent.
The training programme ensures that the student diver has a full understanding of all the theoretical concepts and skills that apply to the Poseidon Se7en.
The student diver is also given an overview of information that is not specific to their rebreather. However, this information is only informative so that the student diver is aware of the general and possible configurations that other divers may use.
No decompression diving is allowed on this course.
This course involves the training of instructors who wish to train the Poseidon Se7en Closed Circuit Rebreather Decompression Procedures course.
The aim of the course is to train instructors to safely train closed circuit diving, within the depth limit of 40m for recreational dives with decompression using oxygen and air as diluent.
This is the next level of Poseidon Se7en CCR training for divers who wish to use a rebreather for diving with air.
Air Diluent Deco Level:
The aim of the course is to teach divers the benefits, hazards and correct procedures for rebreather diving and basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 40 metres using air as a diluent for decompression dives.
The course ensures that the student diver has a full understanding of all theoretical content and skills applicable to the Poseidon Se7en.
The student diver is further given an overview of all information that is not specific to his rebreather. However, this information is only informative so that he is aware of the general possible configurations that other divers may use.
This course considers the training of instructors who wish to train the Helitrox Deco Closed Circuit Rebreather course on the Poseidon Se7en.
The aim of the course is to train instructors to develop the skills of divers in closed circuit diving, within the manufacturer’s depth limit of 45m for recreational diving, using trimix with 21% oxygen and 35% helium.
Helitrox Diluent Deco Level:
This is the next level of Poseidon Se7en CCR training for divers who wish to use a rebreather for diving with Helitrox as diluent.
The aim of the course is to teach divers the benefits, hazards and correct procedures for diving with a rebreather.
To develop the basic skills for diving with a CCR to a maximum depth of 45 metres using helium as the diluent for decompression dives.
Students may use a diluent and bailout mixture with a helium content of not more than 35% and an oxygen content of not less than 21%, and oxygen up to 100% for decompression in the event of a bailout.
The course ensures that the student diver has a full understanding of all theoretical content and skills applicable to the Poseidon Se7en.
The student diver is further given an overview of all information that is not specific to his rebreather. However, this information is only informative so that he is aware of the general possible configurations that other divers may use.
This is the mixed gas course for instructors who want to teach this eCCR rebreather course.
The purpose of this course is to train instructors to teach mixed gas courses for the Poseidon Se7en eCCR. It will further develop the associated technical skills and procedures for diving with the Poseidon Se7en suitable for diving to a maximum depth of 60 meters using trimix with a minimum of 16 percent oxygen (O2) or greater.
Mixed Gas Level:
This is the upper level diving course for divers who wish to use a Poseidon Se7en for mixed gas diving.
The aim of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and correct procedures for mixed gas diving on a Poseidon Se7en, using a mixed gas diluent with an oxygen content of 16 per cent or more, and to develop skills for diving with a Poseidon Se7en to a maximum depth of 60 metres.
This is the advanced mixed gas course for instructors who want to teach this eCCR rebreather course.
The goal of this course is to train instructors to teach mixed gas courses for the Poseidon Se7en eCCR. In doing so, it will further develop the associated technical skills and procedures for diving with the Poseidon Se7en suitable for diving to a maximum depth of 100 meters using trimix with 16 percent oxygen (O2) or less.
Advanced Mixed Gas Level:
This is the top level advanced mixed gas course for divers who wish to use a Poseidon Se7en eCCR for mixed gas diving. The aim of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and correct procedures for mixed gas diving on a Poseidon Se7en eCCR to a maximum depth of 100 metres using trimix with 16% oxygen (O2) or less.
