Rebreather Training Requirements
We are required to provide direct updates to international training standards, while also initiating adaptations to the training structure to harmonize with global standards.
These adjustments have become a legal requirement due to increasing global standards apply to Instructor Trainers (IT) and Instructors.
From now on, the following measures are applied:
- For immediate effect, prior written authorization from Poseidon Diving Systems is a prerequisite for conducting training for Instructor Trainers (IT) and Instructors.
- Starting from July 1, 2024, a manufacturer update will be mandatory for all current Instructor Trainers (IT) and Instructors to maintain their training authorization.
Instructor Trainers (IT) and Instructors who are already authorized for training may continue to train users until May 31, 2024, at the latest.
